A Message From Arlala    Dedication To Wendy Marie Sheppard   CDFacts    Music Store

MONTEREY, CALIFORNIA

   If you have ever heard the magnificent voice and dynamic singing style of Arlala Sheppard, you are among those who know that she is truly on a mission from God. Her ministry in christian music which spans from 1976 to present includes her many endeavors as choir member, soloist and \ or cantor at liturgies, weddings, funerals, and other events all over Monterey County. In addition to her numerous activities with the Diocese of Monterey, Arlala has been a long time 1st soprano with the well known Camarata Singers of Monterey County under the direction of John Koza. In 2003 she won a position with the National Pastoral Musicians Honors Choir which convened in Cincinatti in July of the same year. At present, Arlala is currently the coordinator of liturgy and music at St. Jude's Church in Marina. On Saturdays and Sundays you can find her leading the congregation at San Carlos Church in Monterey. She is by far the most sought after singer/cantor in the area.

    Arlala's first CD release "In Heaven's Eyes" is a collection of some of the greatest christian songs ever written and was arranged and produced by Arlala's husband-- singer/songwriter/ recording artist Tony Sheppard who is the founder of Merlin Records and president of California Sun Productions. Arlala and Tony dedicate this CD to their beloved daughter, Wendy Marie Sheppard who passed away on December 9, 2004 from complications due to severe birth defects.

     On Easter Sunday 2008 Merlin Records released Arlala's newest CD " Redeemer, Savior, Friend " - another dynamic interpretation of ten of the best christian songs ever created. Twenty percent of the proceeds from all of Arlala's music will donated to The March of Dimes to help prevent birth defects. Help Arlala continue on her mission from God.
